I hate high school. Seriously. I can't wait to get out. I want to travel and explore and learn on my own. Not chained and confined to a desk every single day. I'm sick of the liars, the haters, the stereotypes. I hate the way people judge you even though they don't know you at all. I'm tired of learning through books. I want hands-on. I want a real challenge. Not memorization and repetitive nonsense. What I would give to be able to get an applied class... Forensic Science is the only class we have that I get to actually work and gain experience in. Everything else is so boring, so minuscule.

We had a speaker from the air-force come and talk to us today. He made it sound so enticing. He got to live in Japan for 9 years... he learned Japanese and got to travel to Thailand, Taiwan, Tokyo.... so many places I would love to go. Korea, Europe... it sounds almost too good to be true. Fully paid college tuition... traveling to several countries...

I don't want to enlist. I really don't. But the benefit might outweigh the costs. It's four years of my life that I could be doing something else. I don't know. It's tempting.
